Senior Adults
First Baptist Church of Walnut Cove is very proud to have a very active Senior Adult Ministry!
We have approximately 60 senior adults who meet once a month to participate in the many activities from auctions to BBQs, bingo, picnics, having special guest speakers, musical entertainment and a spectacular Valentine's Banquet! There are many ministries within the Senior Adult Ministry. Our Seniors are very involved in volunteering at East Stokes Outreach Ministry, Walnut Ridge Assisted Living, Walnut Cove Healthcare and visiting our shut-ins! This great group does so many behind-the-scenes things that are so very important to our church and our community. First Baptist Church has always been so supportive of this ministry as so many churches do not have an active Senior Adult Program. This group has been active and growing for over 40 years. We encourage all the community's Seniors, 60 years of age and over, to join in this wonderful fellowship opportunity!
